Waking Up Voice Assistant

You can wake up the smart voice assistant while driving to perform operations such as navigation and music playback using voice commands.

You can wake up the smart voice assistant in any of the following ways:

  • Press and hold (or briefly press) the voice button in the vehicle.
  • Tap the voice ball on the head unit screen.
  • Speak the voice wake-up word directly, such as "Xiao Yi Xiao Yi" (Huawei phones), "Hello YOYO" (Honor phones), or another wake-up word you have set.
tip

To use the voice wake-up word:

  • Before connecting to HiCar, go to your phone's Settings > Smart Assistance > Smart Voice > Voice Wakeup and turn on the voice wake-up switch.
  • Do not cover the phone's microphone.

Additionally, to set a custom wake-up word on the phone side: Settings > Smart Assistance > Smart Voice > Voice Wakeup > Wake-up Word.
